Investigator Education for the Protection of Human Research Subjects
with HIPAA Privacy Rule Component

This program is designed to provide investigators with a background in the ethics of research and the protection of human research subjects. A primary focus is on Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) regulations as they pertain to projects funded by the National Institutes of Health. However, the principles as they apply to human subject research are universal.

The program consists of:

  1. An educational tutorial in a question and answer format
  2. An interactive test

Upon completion of the test, a certificate of completion will be available for printing.
